My goodness Richard. Beautiful. You are a credible (and I mean that in the most positive way) pianist! I had no idea. I first performed this Sonata (violinist) as part of my senior recital at Oberlin Conservatory. Where did you study? Allow me to be proud of you on behalf of Ben and Marion.
Scott Hankins
Thanks Scott, for your very generous words. Studying Brahms is always a labor of love for me.
My primary studies in piano were with Andrew Willis at UNC Greensboro, and I also had the privilege of studying with Wu Han at Aspen and with Sylvia Wang at Northwestern. My chamber music studies included working with Vivian Weilerstein and accompanying with Benton Hess.
